Ted Reeve, Co-founder & Advisor

Its hard to imagine Greening Sacred Spaces without the guiding eco-spiritual vision of Rev. Ted Reeve.  So, we count ourselves lucky that he remains a passionate advocate and sought-after advisor to our work.

Currently the minister of St. Paul’s United Church in Orillia, Ted has been an educator, executive director and administrator and has served in different congregations to help them with major redevelopment and community engagement projects. He served as the executive director of Faith and the Common Good: Greening Sacred Spaces, which he co-founded with Bill Phipps; associate director of continuing education at the Toronto School of Theology; research co-ordinator and lecturer in the Centre for the Study of Religion at Emmanuel College, University of Toronto; and program minister in leadership and education (general council) for the United Church of Canada.
