The Green Audit is a holistic and comprehensive walk-through of a faith community building(s) to assess opportunities and needs for realizing energy and heating savings, water conservation, and reducing utility bills. The audit involves members of a congregation, addresses indoor and exterior items such as procurement, indoor air quality, landscaping, and more. A custom report and recommendations for next steps provide a guide for upgrades, renovations, and repair priorities. This well-received program is recommended by participant communities. Cost is tiered based on building size.
The Solar Audit is offered as part of our support for Renewable Energy Revival for faith communities. Originally part of our Solar Faith Initiative, the solar audit assists faith communities in assessing potential and viability of solar panel installation at their place of worship. The solar audit measures available solar energy, considers pitch/slope of roof, and other factors for faith communities in the early stages of investigating renewable energy investment opportunities.
